today, we turned on firststring!
today is a huge day for me because we finally turned on firststring for select high school athletes > check it out!
firststring, in it’s current form, is an aggregator of local, regional and national high school sports content that is indexed in to athlete and team profiles based on location. this is really the early foundation for what will become something that is much bigger over the next few months leading up to the start of the fall 2011 high school sports season.
select athletes and teams in southern california, texas and indiana will have the opportunity to test out use firststring over the next few months until we decide to open it up to more athletes this coming fall.
i’m so proud of our team and all the hard work and passion that went in to making sure we could get firststring launched this month. you really can’t build a great company without really great people and i’m super proud to be associated with such talented teammates who all believe in firststring’s mission.
