not sure about you, but occasionally i read something that resonates with me. today i’ve been so lucky as to come across two phenomenal pieces of work. the first discusses what it’s like to be an entrepreneur vs. a venture capitalist in the words of a man who is both. the second, more abstract but extremely important to me, discusses ‘purpose.’

Watchthe sound behind “inception”
i recently saw the movie inception and beyond the stunning storyline was the breathe and feeling of the sound that came with every scene. it made the movie so much deeper and the experience that much realer. this six minute piece on how the sound was made for the movie and added with precision to each frame is super exciting. yes im a nerd and this stuff...

update: firststring
here’s a little update on my BIG project firststring: it’s coming. i promise. we’ve been quiet about a lot but there is plenty going on in the background. we’re aligning, building, thinking and doing lots of doing. stay tuned for more soon. 2011 is our year.
